Initially co-funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), the semi-annual EIP Internship Program was designed to help prepare the next generation of clean energy workers through internships for students and recent graduates at New York State’s clean energy companies.
The internships include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering, with students selected for the Fall/Winter program from R.I.T., SUNY Polytech, SUNY Binghamton, and Union College.

These interns have provided impactful contributions to the design, construction, and testing of our new technologies, and that’s indicative of the quality of the education at these academic institutions.”
The company plans to continue the EIP Internship Program in 2020, and hopes to expand it further with additional Central New York partners.
