Newest Members at The Tech Garden

March 3, 2020

The Tech Garden recently welcomed five new startup members that now have access to business resources, mentors, funding opportunities and events.

The startups include:
  • M.E.D Energy – M.E.D. Energy is able to transform any kind of waste, including unsorted waste, into a significant source of clean energy, with zero CO2 emissions. The purpose of M.E.D. Energy is to realize smart, cost-effective, sustainable and reliable solutions as alternatives to existing solutions.
  • Tonquin – Tonquin is “Uber” for auto parts. The startup connects auto parts stores to the growing community of gig drivers and anyone who is looking to make extra cash to deliver their parts. Using a web-based logistics dashboard, auto part stores can easily control last mile delivery to their commercial customers. Drivers on Tonquin’s mobile app flip the switch on when they want to work and are alerted of nearby shipments. This allows auto part stores to save money on their current delivery expenses and increase their efficiency. Tonquin connects auto part stores to drivers when they need them, where they need them, at the lowest cost.
  • tkFabricate, LLC – tkFabricate (tkF) is focused on the development and implementation of systems and techniques required for feasible, affordable and market driven deep energy retrofits of multifamily residencies as an integral segment of New York State’s goal to achieve a carbon neutral economy. Taking precedent from existing advanced manufacturing processes, tkF proposes to increase productivity in the construction industry, reducing installation costs of mechanical systems and building facades via vertical supply chain integration, design for manufacturing and assembly and implementation of 3D scanning and modeling tools to decrease design, installation and disruption of tenants throughout the process.
  • IoT Right – IoT Right provides open, secure and easy to use end-to-end IoT solutions to fit any IoT vertical market. Whether hosted on premise, their cloud or the public cloud, IoT Right is built from the ground up with the ability to interface with any sensor, network or cloud, providing the actionable intelligence customers need to maximize their business. The startup integrates any legacy system into your platform which allows you to work at the edge, in the cloud or on premise with a consistent and repeatable methodology to be leveraged across all IoT solutions.
  • Pro Structura – Pro Structura provides a framework for the intelligent application of technology to building operations and maintenance, construction and renovation projects and the teams that perform those projects. Through a series of point-solutions the Pro Structura platform will meet the emerging needs of building owners, design professionals and the teams they work with.
