Over the past few months, several INSPYRE client companies have welcomed new team members, adding expertise in AI, aviation, business development, customer success and more as they continue to build and scale.
Flox Intelligence, the GENIUS NY Cohort 9 grand prize winner, has added two new team members to its growing Syracuse operation. Dana Adcock joined the company as a Wildlife Behavior Engineer, bringing expertise in wildlife behavior and artificial intelligence as she prepares to complete her Ph.D. at Syracuse University this August. She’ll help strengthen the research and scientific foundation behind Flox’s wildlife management technology.
The company also recently welcomed Austin Horna as Senior Account Executive. A military veteran and SUNY Oswego graduate, Horna brings seven years of sales experience and will help drive business growth as Flox continues to expand.
Another GENIUS NY Cohort 9 company, Skyfire AI, recently welcomed Julia Quirk to the team full time. A Syracuse native and former captain of the SUNY Oswego women’s lacrosse team, Quirk is supporting community engagement and client success efforts as the company continues to grow.
Lighthouse Avionics is also expanding its leadership team with the addition of Col. (Ret.) Michael Rodick as Head of Strategy and LTG (Ret.) Sean Gainey as Senior Strategic Advisor.
The pair previously worked together in the Department of Defense’s Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO), helping lead the nation’s counter-drone efforts. Rodick brings more than two decades of military leadership experience, while Gainey most recently served as Commanding General of U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. Together, they’ll help guide Lighthouse Avionics as it continues to grow and advance its aviation technologies.
