Three New Members Join The Tech Garden to Build Their Startups in CNY

January 23, 2020

The Tech Garden recently welcomed three new startup members that now have access to learning workshops, business resources, mentors and funding opportunities.

The startups include:
  • M3 Innovation, LLC, a disruptive technology innovation startup company. M3 Innovation is comprised of the founders and engineers of Ephesus Lighting, a successful 2010 startup company that planted its roots in the Technology Garden to leverage valuable resources within New York State to successfully develop and commercialize LED Lighting globally. In 2015, Ephesus Lighting successfully lit the 1st NFL Super Bowl stadium to use LED sports lighting and was, soon after, acquired by Eaton Corporation.  M3 Innovation, LLC, has a mission to disrupt the $4B outdoor municipal sports lighting market with innovative product solutions at significantly lower cost. M3 will develop a portfolio of intellectual property for the lighting and IoT markets with a business model designed to secure revenue from IP license and royalty agreements.
  • Eco-Baggeez, offering an alternative to plastic bags with the least amount of environmental impact. Eco-Baggeez LLC is committed to offering the best high-volume, low-cost alternative to plastic sandwich/snack bags with the least amount of environmental impact. Benefits include: biodegradeabiity, backyard compostability, recyclability, affordability and accessible positioning. Their bags are also microwavable. Eco-Baggeez patented design allows for secure, resealable closure, allowing the bags to be reusable. This everyday consumer product works like its traditional counterpart, so transitioning is seamless for the consumer. Their goal is reduce the 97 billion plastics sandwich bags used in the U.S. each year. We are proud to be 100% Made in the USA.
  • Provider One, a medical scribe company that was founded in 2019 based on a simple proposition: a physician’s time is best spent with their patients, not with the computer. Recognizing that scribes are indispensable for physicians and patients alike they created the Provider One app. First of its kind, the app will streamline every aspect of a workflow including training and performance feedback while housing a fully integrated Telescribe service that will be used to later launch an Ai Scribe. Provider One can now provide service to rural and underserved areas that have previously been impossible to staff with scribes.
